Child Safety Standards Policy

Atraf is committed to providing a safe and secure platform for all users. We adhere to the highest standards of child safety, including the protection of minors from any form of sexual abuse, exploitation, or harmful content. This policy outlines our practices, requirements, and responsibilities to ensure compliance with child safety laws and protect vulnerable individuals.

  1. Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

1.1. Policy Statement
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any user found to be involved in CSAE will be immediately banned from the platform and reported to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.

1.2. Prohibited Activities and Content

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): The creation, sharing, or distribution of any CSAM is strictly prohibited on our platform. This includes, but is not limited to, any content involving minors that is sexually explicit, abusive, or exploitative.
  • Solicitation or Grooming: Any attempt to solicit, exploit, or manipulate minors for sexual purposes is forbidden.
  • Abusive Interactions: Any forms of sexual harassment, threats, coercion, or manipulation aimed at minors are prohibited.

1.3. Reporting CSAE
If you suspect or encounter CSAE or any other forms of exploitation, you are required to report it immediately using the tools provided on our platform. We will respond to all reports in a timely and thorough manner.

  1. In-App Mechanism for User Feedback

2.1. Reporting Tool for CSAE or CSAM
Our platform provides an easy-to-use feedback and reporting mechanism for users to report suspected CSAE, CSAM, or any child safety concerns. This reporting system is confidential, quick, and accessible within the app. To report a profile you can click on the 3 dots menu, and then click on the "Report" option. after you click the option, a window opens, allowing you to file a complaint against the profile you wanted to report.

 

2.2. Feedback System

  • Users are encouraged to submit feedback related to child safety measures and share any concerns regarding the protection of minors.
  • The feedback system allows for anonymity to protect the identity of the reporter and encourage full transparency in addressing issues.
  1. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) Prevention and Removal

3.1. Proactive CSAM Detection
We employ automated detection tools such as Google Vision image recognition to proactively identify and block CSAM. These tools help ensure that no inappropriate content involving minors is shared or distributed through the platform.

3.2. Immediate Action on CSAM

  • If CSAM is detected or reported, the material will be immediately removed from the platform.
  • The account responsible for the material will be permanently banned.

3.3. Compliance with Legal Requirements
We comply with mandatory reporting laws and fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in any investigation related to CSAE or CSAM.

      5.1. Designated Child Safety Officer
      To ensure continuous compliance with child safety standards, we have designated a Child Safety Officer (CSO). The CSO is responsible for managing all child protection concerns, including responding to reports of CSAE or CSAM and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

    1. Enforcement of Child Safety Policies

    6.1. User Account Suspension and Banning

    • Any user found to be in violation of this policy, whether by sharing CSAM or engaging in child sexual exploitation, will face immediate suspension and permanent banning from the platform.
    • We will also take appropriate actions to prevent the user from rejoining under a different account.

    6.2. Legal Consequences

    • Any criminal activity involving CSAE, including the sharing of CSAM, will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
    • We will fully cooperate with law enforcement and provide all necessary information to assist in the investigation of illegal activities.
    1. Continuous Improvement and Policy Review

    7.1. Regular Audits
    Our platform undergoes regular audits and reviews of our child protection policies and practices to ensure compliance with changing laws and best practices for combating CSAE and CSAM.

    7.2. Updates to Policies
    We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use and Child Safety Standards Policy to reflect changes in laws, technology, or platform practices. All updates will be clearly communicated to users via notifications or through the platform.

    1. User Responsibilities

    8.1. Responsibility to Report
    Users are required to report any instance of CSAE, CSAM, or suspicious behaviour immediately. Failure to report such behaviour can compromise the safety of other users.

    8.2. Respecting Privacy
    Users must respect the privacy and safety of others. Sharing personal information or explicit material involving minors is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination and legal action.
